Week Six - Provided by Joe Osmeloski:
Today, we played the fun and new game SNOOKERISH, and after tonight’s crazy happenings, we should call the game SHOOKERISH, as the scores as you will see were all shook up, and in fact we have a NEW TOP DOG or should I say TOP DONKEY. In fact, after tonights happenings the TOP 5 teams are now separated by a mere 123 points. Also, a few teams that have been tanking all year had incredibly good nights, which has us asking: WHERE have you been all year?
OK, before we get to those crazy scores, we have to recognize our top performers for the day. In SNOOKERISH, top dog was Rey and Brenda with a 95, and Q and Karen with a 94. In standard, Quigley and Marianne had a 128, with Jeeves and Jean checking in with a 122. Overall, our top 2 were Q and Karen with a 209, and Peenie and Dave with a 206.
So the team with 3F's got all F's on the scorecard tonight and after leading virtually all year, are now chasing the team with the Donkey Jockey, who obviously is now going to the whip as we reach the top of the stretch, and his team is responding. BLEW BAYOU is only 38 points behind the top team, making Lovely Linda sing some more sweet Tunes.
COURSE CONTROL is still wallowing in 4th place but still is keeping the top team in sight by 119 points and even the CRIME DOG team is in touch with back 123 points. However, the 2 teams that have been fighting it out all year for the infamous BOOBY BAR, both had big nights. The only thing we can think of is THE EDSELS have found some new illegal Rocket fuel, probably called Near Varna or Haze in the Hollow, and obviously Charlie took Squeaky and the Girls off the cranberry chablis as these 2 teams put on a show tonight, and thats even with the Captain back in the drivers seat for the Furraries.
Well, a wild 2 weeks to go and as we saw tonight, no lead is safe, Except of course for the Lead that Squeaky and the Girls have on the Booby Bar.
Week Five - Provided by Joe Osmeloski:
We started the 2nd half of our 2023 season, with the very interesting
game of JUST ONE MORE, and the top team going into tonight was starting
to feel the heat from a couple of other teams, so what did they do?
Well, they put the hammer down and opened up another substantial lead as
you will see. Another team named after a Linda Ronstadt song continues
its climb up the standings, and speaking of opening up a substantial
lead, the Manson bunch sure did that st the bottom. BUT the real story
tonight was the team I call THE EDSELS had a new driver for one of their
cars and the results were amazing. Spoiler alert: Captain Whiner got
punked by his wife.
Ok, Before we get to the scores, we must recognize the top dogs and
Handlers, and a couple new drivers showed up on the top scores sheet.
In Just One More, Frankie and Tammy scored a mind blowing 119, and LIZ
(yes Liz Captain) and Peak scored a 103. In Standard, Marianne and Quig
had a 136 and Frankie had a 133. Overall was Frankie and Tammy with a
monster 252 BUT how about MACINTOSH and Margarite having the 2nd best
total of 214.
WEEK 5 Scores:
1. Furry Fast Flyers 577
2. Blew Bayou 555
3. Furraries 539
4. Course Control 508
5. Unleashed 501
6. Ruff Around the Edges 430
7. Helter Skelter 420
OVERALL after WEEK 5:
1. Furry Fast Flyers 2807
2. Unleashed 2710
3. Blew Bayou 2670
4. Course Control 2658
5. Ruff Around the Edges 2625
6. Furraries 2480
7. Helter Skelter 2244
So the 3F's had, had enough of teams getting close to them and blew the
doors off the rest of us, to open up almost a 100 point lead on the team
led by the Donkey Jockey. The hottest team in the League right now is
BLEW BAYOU who again Blew by a couple teams to now sit 3rd. Their rally
may come up short in the end but the ground they keep making up each
week is sweeter than Lovely Lindas beautiful voice. COURSE CONTROL is
only in control of 4th place and going nowhere. The Crime dog RUFF team,
acted like they were in handcuffs today, and waiting trial in front of
the Hanging judge. However, the EDSELS (although tonight were more like
their namesakes), are plotting how to get Liz to run Peak every week and
have the Captain shining hubcaps, and putting Bobblehead dolls in the
rear windows. SQUEAKY and her band also put the hammer down, and now
with Liz driving the FURRARIE, have got a firm grip on that BB, after
getting a scare last week.
Week Four- Provided by Joe Osmeloski:
Dear Agility League Participants,
Well, leave it to SNOOKER to really shake things up as we reach the halfway point of our incredible season. Wait until you see how tight things have gotten at the top and believe it or not, even the bottom.
Speaking of the bottom, one team named after a very fast car came out of SNOOKER with all 4 wheels off, the motor blown up, and the drive shaft hanging. When last seen, that Furrarie was on the back of a wrecker with Team Helter Skelter toasting them with a bottle of Cranberry Chablis.
OK, before we get to those wild scores, we must recognize our top performing handler teams. In SNOOKER, Marianne and Quigley were tops with a 74, followed by Katy and Ziba with a 68. In Standard, Frankie and Tammy had an incredible 141 followed by Donkey Dave who despite getting Schnockered in Snooker, came back with a great 137 in standard. Overall Tammy and Frankie were tops with a 200 and Jeeves and Jean scored a 194.
WOW, only 80 points separate the top 4 teams and the team led by a Donkey Jockey is a mere 21 points behind the 3F's and the Crime dog team is only 35 teams back. Course control is down by 80 points and even Blew Bayou at 115 points back is not out of it, BUT tonight was all about the EDSELS and their complete blow up. This team needs to fire their Pit Crew, change head Mechanics, and find a new set of wheels that arent strewn all over the field at PFTF. Squeaky and her band of followers are getting punch drunk on Cranberry Chablis now thinking that yours truly was way premature in awarding them the BB, with the way the EDSELS are crashing.
Tonights week 4 Scores:
1. Unleashed 562
2. Ruff Around the Edges 557
3. Blue Bayou 540
4. Course Control 498
5. Furry Fast Flyers 488
6. Helter Skelter 417
7. Furraries 397
OVERALL after Week 4:
1. Furry Fast Flyers 2230
2. Unleashed 2209
3. Ruff Around the Edges 2195
4. Course Control 2150
5. Blew Bayou 2115
6. Furraries 1941
7. Helter Skelter 1824

Week Three - Provided by Joe Osmeloski:
Well, after a 3 week break, we were back with the always wild game of DARE TO DOUBLE. One team that has been languishing near the bottom obviously used the break to either practice their skills or just went on reset as they had a big night as you will see later. The top team had another solid night and are looking strong going to the midway point of the season next week.
Before we get to all the team scores, we must recognize the top performers tonight and Marianne and Quigley put on an absolute show tonight as they were high in DTD with a mind boggling 117, and then followed that up in Standard with another incredible 139 for a total of 256. Poor Peenie and Dave were also awesome posting a 104 in DTD and a
132 in Standard for a total of 236, which is a great score but still 20 points behind the incredible score Quigley put up.
TONIGHTS WEEK 3 Scores: OVERALL after WEEK 3:
1. Blew Bayou 615 1. Furry Fast Flyers 1742
2. Furry Fast Flyers 593 2. Course Control 1652
3. Unleashed 572 3. Unleashed 1647
4. Ruff Around the Edges 570 4. Ruff Around the Edges 1638
5. Course Control 567 5. Blew Bayou 1575
6. Furraries 556 6. Furraries 1544
7. Helter Skelter 509 7. Helter Skelter 1407
So the 3F's again increased their lead over the COURSE CONTROL team who just cant seem to make up any ground on the top team and now are being threatened by 2 other teams that seem to be getting stronger. UNLEASHED ever since they got Donkey Dave and Peenie back are on fire and are threatening the 2nd place team and keeping the 3Fs in sight. The CRIME DOG TEAM are also hanging in there with COURSE CONTROL and UNLEASHED as a mere 14 points seperate 2-4. BLEW BY NO ONE had a great night and actually did blow by a team, the EDSELS who may become the PINTO's if they keep up this downward spiral. As far as HELTER SKELTER goes, they should invest in a case of CRANBERRY CHABLIS and drown themselves in that rotgut as they become probably the earliest team to ever be awarded the BOOBY BAR. Congratulations on this incredible feat. Remember, however that over the years, the BB winners annually take home the best prizes at the end of the year gala.
Next week, we reach the halfway point as we play everyones favorite game of SNOOKER.

Week Two - Provided by Joe Osmeloski:
First, before we get to the scores (which were wild to say the least), Tammy and I would just like to thank everyone for making our Holiday gathering a great success. The food and beverages were awesome and special thanks must go to Marty and Susan for arranging the table.
We played FAST and one team who got their fearless leader back from his equine exploits made a huge move tonight and another team who have now disgraced the Fab four also made a huge move, but not in the direction you would hope for.
Before we get to all that excitement, we must first recognize our top dogs and in FAST, It was Frankie and Tammy with an 89 and Peenie and Dave with an 88, and in Standard, it was Peenie and Dave with a 131, and Elsie and Caroline with a 126. Overall, It was Peenie and Dave with a fantastic 219, and Elsie and Caroline with a 211.
So the FFF's are still pounding their chests acting like they are unbeatable but LEAGUE CONTROL still has them in their sights, and how about UNLEASHED getting their Equine expert back and just going crazy with amazing scores and moving from 6th to 3rd. The CRIME DOG team had great runs from Elsie to stay in the hunt, The EDSELS still need a tune up or maybe need to go to a higher octane fuel as they languish in 5th and BLEW BY NO ONE actually blew by HELTER SKELTER, but then again a Blind Handler in a wheelchair could blow by them. Has that team been secretly been sipping that rotgut, Cranberry Chablis?
Whew, the first two weeks of league were crazy awesome, and now we have a 3 week break until January 7th and DARE TO DOUBLE.

Week One - Provided by Joe Osmeloski:
Today, we started our first week of our 18th year of Agility League and we played "Super" Fullhouse. It was a great way to start League and many teams excelled and a few teams, well lets just say were a bit off their game. No worries though to the teams that struggled as we have 7 more weeks and lots of time to make lots of points. Yeah right, I just had to say that to be politically correct because if I say you STUNK or TANKED, then I would hear it from those teams.
OK, before we post the scores, we must recognize the top dogs today. In Standard, Frankie scored a 133, and beat Rose by 1 point as she had a 132, and in Super Full House, Frankie again was top dog with a 76 and Rose was next with a 73, which means overall Frankie had a 209 to Rose's 205 and now Frankie will be rubbing into Rose for the next week, or more like Tammy rubbing into yours truly, for the next week.
So, The team with the 3 F's starts out great and thinks they will win but we all know that the team in first place in week 1 always screws up or in this case we know the 3F's team will EFF it up sooner or later, and of course allowing the LEAGUE CONTROL team to eventually win the Plaque. The Crime dog team, McRuff had a steady night to be a respectable 3rd, and the John, Paul,George and Ringo were great in Standard but went all Charlie Manson in Super FullHouse, and ended up 4th. The EDSELS (I have been waiting a month to call the Furraries the EDSELS), need a tune-up if they want to get in the race, And poor UNLEASHED had their fearless leader doing a DONKEY RUN, and leaving the team in disarray, and finally, BLEW BAYOU blew by no one, and find themselves the early leader for the BOOBY BAR.
What a great way to start league, and next week, we play FAST.
